Angela & Steven Pedersen
Last week I went to a circus. There I've met Angela & Steven Pedersen who perform with with sealions and penguins. When I asked if they could perform on ice, they answered they already did. They needed a wet layer, and used a carpet in the middle. I asked them if they have video material of it, and it sounds like they do, but it will be hard to find.

Duo Biddall
In the same circus I worked -many years ago- with Duo Biddall who were working with an aerial acrobatic act. Last week, when I converted my VHS tapes to .avi's, I found their tape... and noticed I forgot it was recorded in an iceshow. They were close friends of me, I've visited them in Scotland and England, but lost contact over the years. So last week I tried if his mobile phone still was working... and got him on the line!
The video was recorded at a show in a leasure park in the UK (Alton Towers).
They also worked for ice-shows of the English circus producer Stuart Ghandi.
Plus he travelled with the show of Marsha Poluliaschenko & Andrew Seabrook.
Funny thing in our conversation; he turned out to have the same special spikes on his trike as I do have on my unicycle. I will send the video to Jason, so he can put it in the hall-of-fame.

The Percellys
When I checked the hall-of-fame if they maybe already were mentioned, I noticed the name 'Percelly'.
I have a very odd memory, and remember seeing the name elsewhere in the past week; on a caravan of -again- this same circus. In 1957, so exactly 50 years ago they were in Holiday on Ice. Bruno and his wife Patricia are retiring in Januari. His son Serge is now in Australia and will do the same at the end of this year. So again I asked them as well if they have video of performances on ice, but they as well are not very computer-skilled.

More
At the day of the break of this circus again my odd memory helped me. I recognized a circus fan who I've met only once, shortly, 12 years ago. He has a very large archive from all circusses and ice-shows in Europe from '45 to now. Plus a lot of program books. I think he has that picture of (real) skating (real) monkeys I once saw. But for sure programs of the famous Italian actress Moira Orfei, who travelled with a big-top with both a circus-ring and an ice-floor in it. So for sure interresting stuff on it's way.
